My Brother the Devil is a truly remarkable low budget film that I am incredibly proud to be a part of. At first glance, it may seem like just another east London gangster flick, but it takes the audience on a journey that goes far beyond that. One of the aspects that truly sets this film apart is the remarkable community access we had, thanks to Sally, our amazing director. Her determination and relentless efforts allowed us to delve deep into the heart of East London, giving us a real opportunity to capture the essence of this powerful coming of age story. As a result, we were not only able to share a narrative but also to reflect the genuine emotions and struggles experienced by those living in this vibrant neighborhood. Additionally, the cinematography is simply breathtaking, with every shot meticulously crafted to create a visually stunning masterpiece. The flawless design, from the set to the costumes, further enhances the authenticity and immersion of the viewer, allowing them to truly feel a part of this captivating world. Overall, My Brother the Devil is an extraordinary film that defies expectations and delivers a captivating and thought-provoking experience.
